Come Together is a studio album by Ike & Tina Turner and their backing vocalists, the Ikettes, released on Liberty Records in April 1970. The album combines rock and soul elements, incorporating rock songs into their repertoire following their tour with the Rolling Stones in November 1969. The album features covers of songs by The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, alongside original material by Ike Turner and a cover of Sly & The Family Stone's "I Want to Take You Higher". The album was reissued several times, including as "Pop Gold" in Germany in 1978 with different cover artwork, and in 2010 on the double CD "Come Together / Nuff Said".
The lead single, a cover of The Beatles' "Come Together", was released in December 1969 on Minit Records. It reached No. 57 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 21 on the Billboard Soul Singles chart. The second single, "I Want to Take You Higher" by Sly and the Family Stone, was released in May 1970, peaking at No. 34 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 25 on the Billboard Soul Singles chart.
